About me
We are social beings with an inherent desire to connect.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW). I believe our wellbeing is deeply rooted in meaningful relationships, especially in a world that can often feel isolating. My passion for fostering genuine connection shapes my work as a therapist, where I help clients navigate life’s transitions, rediscover their inner strengths, and build healthier relationships; with others and with themselves.
As the eldest of three, raised by two adventurous and free-thinking parents: my Dutch father, a dedicated physician, and my Spanish mother, a passionate linguist, nurse and author; I was raised to value both cultural diversity and the power of human connection. These early influences laid the groundwork for my path in psychotherapy.
Born in The Netherlands, I now live in Minneapolis with my three teenage children. I prioritize time with my loved ones, maintaining my health, and restoring my energy through biking, singing, and being in nature.
